Creating a quota plan.

A plan is the container for your quotas: the channels it applies to, the quotas themselves, and one enforcement switch.

Create it

  1. Go to Capture > Quotas.
  2. Click the + next to the plan tabs.
  3. Name the plan (for example AU W1) and click Create. It opens as a new tab alongside your other plans.

Save straight after creating. A brand-new empty plan is not yet covered by the unsaved-changes warning, so it can be lost if you navigate away before the first save.

Assign channels

Use the Applies to dropdown to select the channels this plan manages. The plan's name then appears on those channel cards in the Channels tab. A helper line under the dropdown lists any channels in the survey that no plan covers. A channel can belong to one plan at a time: a channel another plan owns shows that plan's name and cannot be selected.

Quota enforcement

The switch at the top of the plan does two things once the plan is saved: it screens out respondents when a quota cell they match is full, and it starts the counting for cells built from questions. Leave it on for the whole field. If you want counting without screening, keep the switch on and leave targets empty instead. The details are in How counting and screening work. The switch stays on only while the plan has at least one channel.

Rename, delete, start fresh

Both live in the menu at the top of the plan. Deleting a plan abandons its counters permanently, and the confirmation dialog spells out exactly what goes. Every new plan starts its question-based counts from zero, which is also the clean way to reset counters for a new wave.

Saving

Nothing reaches respondents until you click Save. If you try to leave with unsaved edits, Glow offers Save and switch, Discard, or Cancel.
