What is "Reference"? How can I name/rename my survey?

By default, your survey name is just your Intro Title, e.g. "Have your say!" which is shown to all respondents at the start of your survey.

However, to change the name of your survey without changing the Intro title, go to Survey Settings > Reference > rename your survey: e.g. "Blue Jay Drinks: Hard Tea U&A Study" > and click Save & Close. This is an internal reference that will not be exposed to respondents.

The Survey Name in your Project Folder will match this Survey Reference, e.g. "Blue Jay Drinks: Hard Tea U&A Study" (shown below)

However, if the Reference field is empty in your Survey Settings, then the Survey title in your Project Folder will default to the Intro Title, e.g. "Have your say!"
