What are "Loops"?

Build Loops

Want to repeat the same question set for different concepts or brands?

You've got 2 options:

Option A: Duplicate

  1. Select and duplicate questions
  2. Move and edit as needed

  1. Group them: Survey Settings > Groups > +Add
  2. Select a block of questions
  3. Rename the group for clarity (e.g. Apple Berry)

Option B: Loop

This is a more efficient way to repeat the question set.

  1. Go to Survey Settings > Groups > +Add
  2. Select a contiguous block of questions
  3. Rename the group (e.g. Flavour Concepts)
  4. Tick "Loop"
  5. Add loop variables (e.g. drink concepts like Hibiscus Rose, Lavender Oolong, Apple Berry)

Extras

  1. Randomise loops
  2. Add a Loop Image for each variable
  3. Loop display logic can be applied based on previous answers using the "Borrrow from" function

  1. Use {{ loop_variable }} in question or option text to dynamically insert content
  2. If Loop Images have been added in Survey Settings, then tick "From loop variable" underneath the question image to dynamically insert image. Tick this for every question in the group where you want looped images to be shown.

Here's how your looped questions should appear in the survey builder
