How can I Translate my Survey?

To translate your survey, click Translations in your Survey Menu, then click Add and give your Translation a Label. To translate your survey from scratch, change Type to Custom or click Customize.

Alternatively, to auto-translate your survey, check that Type is set to Auto Translate, then click Language and select the language you want to auto-translate to. You can then edit the auto-translation by clicking Customize.

All unique questions, statements and choices as well survey buttons required for translation in your survey will appear in the translation fields in your Translation Editor. Check that all translation fields are filled in, then click Done.

Share Translation Link

If you want to share your Translation Link with others, e.g. with an external translation agency, then click Customize, tick Shareable Link, click Copy Link and share this link with your translation agency, then click Done.

Your Translation Agency will then be able to edit your survey translation from their translation link and when they've translated all required fields, they can click Save to update your Translation Link with their bespoke translation.

You can see your translation in Preview by clicking the 3-dot menu, then click Translation and select a language. You can then click Share again to share the translated survey link with your clients or colleagues for them to sign off and approve.

Once your survey is ready and final translation approved, make sure to first untick Shareable link and click Done to prevent anyone editing the Translation link, and you can then add the final translation to your channels within each channel's Translation toggle.
