Numeric Scale.
The Numeric Scale question type allows respondents to select one from a range of numeric choices (not text choices) on a horizontal slider scale.

Numeric Scale Editor
To create a Numeric Scale question:
- Go to the Build tab
- Click '+Add Question/Section' and choose 'Numeric Scale'
- Enter your question.
- Edit the Start and End points of the scale (0 to 10 is the most popular).
- The Unit can be changed from a simple number to another unit like percentage (%), currency ($), weight (kg), and more (optional).
- The Steps field determines how many numbers will appear on your scale and the size of the interval between each number. The number of choices = Steps + 1, so e.g. if Steps = 10, then there are 11 choices. If Steps = 4, then 5 choices.
- A preview of the numbers on your scale will appear in the Choices section below the Start and End points.
- Tick 'Semantic Differential' to add text on the extreme left and right of your numeric scale so respondents know what each end of the scale means.

Numeric Scale Preview

- If there are less than 20 steps, your choices will appear on a slider scale
- If there are 20 or more steps, your choices will appear in a dropdown
