What is a "quantifier"?
There are three quantifiers that help you create your logic:
- Any of - This is just an OR condition. If respondents selected just one of the choice/s that you specify in your condition (e.g. choice 1 or choice 2 or choice 3), they will meet your condition requirements.
- All of - This is just an AND condition. Respondents must have selected all of the choice/s that you specified (e.g. choice 1 and choice 2 and choice 3), in order for them to meet your condition requirements.
- None of - this means respondents must not have selected any of the choice/s that you specify in your condition (e.g. not choice 1, not choice 2, not choice 3)
When your logic involves numeric answers, then the following numeric quantifiers will appear.
- Less than
- Greater than
- Equal to
To add more If... conditions and Then... outcomes to your logic using AND logic:
- click the '+' button. E.g. If... Q1 = Couple HH AND Q2 = Non-Buyers, Then exit the survey AND add tag: Couple HH: Non-Buyers
To add more If... conditions to your logic using OR logic, simply add a new separate logic condition to get the same effect as OR logic, so you can thus:
- click the duplicate logic icon (next to the 'x' button and above the '+' button) to create a new separate logic condition and then edit your separate If... conditions as needed. E.g. If... Q1 = Couple HH OR If... Q2 = Non-Buyers, Then... exit the survey.
Alternatively,
- click Add Display Logic or Add Action Logic, whichever you need to create a new separate logic condition to get the same effect as OR logic.
You can imagine an "OR" at the line that separates the two conditions.
